Hybrid learning to begin Wednesday, Feb. 17

Linden’s COVID-19 infection rate has improved and we have moved out of the Red Zone. Therefore, all secondary and elementary schools will switch to a hybrid learning model on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

Students who have opted for in-person learning will report to their school on Wednesday morning. If your child takes the bus to school, please adhere to the schedule that was distributed in September. Students who have opted for virtual learning will continue to log in to class through Webex.

Grab-and-go meals will continue to be distributed at each school, 12:30 to 3:00 p.m., each school day.

Everyone entering our school buildings must wear a mask, and every effort will be made to maintain maximum social distancing. Please watch this video from some of our principals about procedures and preparations for returning to in-person learning.

We also encourage everyone to follow CDC and Department of Health guidelines for wearing face masks, socially distancing, and washing your hands when outside of school as well to help continue to drive our community infection rate down.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to your school’s principal.

We are happy to be able to invite students back into our schools and must all work together to make sure we are as safe as possible. I look forward to seeing many of our students on Wednesday!

Carpe diem,

Dr. Marnie Hazelton
Superintendent of Schools
