According to Ryan M. Devaney, Supervisor of Student Services, โThe Student Services Department of Linden Public Schools is comprised of school counselors, social workers, and student assistance counselors. During this week, we celebrate National School Counseling Week by acknowledging the continued contributions put forth by school counselors throughout our district. Each day, they provide a level of care and support to the school community through their dedication.โ
From scheduling and testing to guidance counseling, mental health support, and post-secondary planning, our school counselors are the heart of student success. As the late Rita Pierson said:
