Dear Parent/Guardian/Staff,

Our children are fortunate to attend one of Linden’s finest middle schools. The PTA of MMS actively supports this high-quality learning by generously donating time, energy, and funds. Your support makes the PTA’s support of the school possible.

The McManus PTA is responsible for and/or sponsors many school activities such as the book fairs, teacher appreciation breakfasts & lunches, dances, and school fun days. The PTA is a tremendous opportunity for parents to get involved in their school, have a forum to voice concerns or help promote excellent work from both our students and the school’s faculty and staff.

However, the PTA cannot function and will fail without parent involvement and leadership. I urge and plead for every single parent to join the PTA and become involved in your child’s school experience.

Joining does not require you to do anything but pay a membership fee to help support the children, however, there are three ways you can help us if you choose in creating a strong and vibrant school.

Attend PTA Meetings. Parents are invited to join our bi-monthly meetings. PTA meetings empower parents. We strive each year to do more, be more, and grow more.

Volunteer. We understand everyone is busy and volunteering is a fantastic way to make a difference, connect with other parents, and school staff. Unfortunately, unless you are a paid member of the PTA you are unable to volunteer due to insurance regulations.

Donate. Another important way to be involved is by donating to the PTA. Donations in any kind or amount help our school! All moneta1y, goods, or services collected through donations and/or fundraising events supports student and staff for an enjoyable learning environment.
