Welcome to Linden Public Schools!
As a new employee, you are eligible for benefits coverage on your hire date. You have the option to enroll yourself and your eligible dependents in the NJ Educators Health Plan (NJEHP), Garden State Health Plan (GSHP), or to waive coverage.
Full-Time Paraprofessionals are eligible for individual medical, prescription and dental coverage only. Dependents may be added to medical and prescription benefits after 3 years and 1 day of employment. If you wish to cover your dependents immediately you may at an additional monthly cost.
Please complete and return the following within 30 days of employment:
- Enrollment Form with required documentation if enrolling dependents
- Coverage Waiver, if declining benefits
- FSA Enrollment Form, if enrolling in a Flexible Spending Account Submit forms by email: tragonese-carlson@lindenps.org
Forms must be submitted within 30 days of employment or you will have to wait to enroll during our open enrollment period. If enrolling, your benefits will be effective as of your hire date.
